Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
- Form mixture into equal-sized patties without overworking the meat
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat
- Cook the turkey burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)
- In a separate bowl, gently combine diced avocados, tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice to make the salsa
- Season the salsa with salt and pepper to taste
- Toast burger buns if desired
